this is why i like to practice humans in secret. they all look the same, with the same bland, emotionless expression on their faces. Sometimes I get frustrated, so I try to spice them up a bit. that never results in an happy ending.

No worries; humans, especially the face, are very hard to depict without running into the uncanny valley effect. Just keep practicing! Pay attention to the space between the nostrils and the bottom of the eyes; it's a lot smaller than you think!
